Site vai realizar 81 torneios durante o mês de setembro

Grinders de todo o mundo já podem se planejar para mais uma edição do principal festival de poker na internet, o World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP). Na 16ª edição do campeonato, o PokerStars vai realizar 81 torneios entre os dias 3 e 26 de setembro. Ao mesmo tempo, o site vai organizar uma série de US$ 11 milhões garantidos com buy-ins bem inferiores ao WCOOP.

Desde a criação do WCOOP, em 2002, dez brasileiros conseguiram vencer no festival. No ano passado, o único campeão foi Guilherme “teruliro” Beavis, do 4Bet Team. Após despachar 1.238 adversários no Evento 81: $320 PL 5-Card Omaha (6-Max), ele engordou a sua conta com $51.267.

O WCOOP ainda foi o palco do melhor resultado de um brasileiro nos MTTs online. No Main Event de 2014, Yuri “theNERDguy” Martins conseguiu levar o país ao heads-up. Enquanto ele ficou com a medalha de prata e $708.251, o campeão Fedor “CrownUpGuy” Holz recebeu $1.300.000.
