O Global Poker Awards chega à sua sexta edição e promete mais uma grande celebração do poker mundial. A cerimônia, marcada para o dia 22 de fevereiro de 2025, no PokerGO Studio, reunirá alguns dos maiores nomes do jogo, incluindo jogadores, criadores de conteúdo e profissionais da indústria.
Entre os destaques deste ano, está a criadora de conteúdo americana Caitlin Comeskey, com quatro indicações, um recorde em 2025. Ela vai disputar as categorias “Personalidade no X/Twitter”, “Criadora de Conteúdo de Curta Duração”, “Melhor Conteúdo de Mídia: Vídeo Curto” e a escolha popular para “Jogador Mais Divertido”.
O Brasil também estará representado no festival. O BSOP, principal série de torneios do país, foi indicado pelo segundo ano consecutivo, na categoria “Melhor Major Tour/Circuito Major de Médio Porte”. Seus concorrentes são os mesmos do ano passado: o WPT Prime, a RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) e o World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC). Nos dois últimos anos, o WPT Prime venceu e é novamente o favorito para este ano.
